We work with Nordic Foam’s products. A product portfolio that is vapor-tight, air-tight, capillary-breaking, and convection-free. Our most used product is what is called closed-cell, which is vapor-tight, air-tight, capillary-breaking, and convection-free. It can also be used as a radon barrier. This technical insulation has few limitations.
We have what is called open-cell, which is air-tight, seamless, and hermetic but vapor-slow, making it useful as additional insulation in attics, interior walls, exterior walls, and between floor joists, among other things.
We also have a roof foam with the same properties as the closed, but it is more self-leveling and becomes much harder.
Different Applications
CRAWL SPACES
Where our product is recommended as a long-term and good solution. Application is either against the ground or directly against the floor joists, which prevents moisture, odors, radon, and insects from entering the house. The result is a floor that is 2-5°C warmer, and the investment is recouped in 2 – 7 years. Our foam also works as a radon barrier.
OUTSIDE FOUNDATION
For example, in drainage works, Thermo-Logic’s foam replaces all membranes and traditional solutions. We apply a seamless climate shell around the entire foundation that keeps all kinds of moisture away from the foundation. The foam can also withstand water with ground pressure, such as floods.
JOISTS
Our solution not only provides extra energy savings due to its tightness but is also better in terms of moisture, according to a recent report from Rise.
EXTERIOR ROOFS, WALLS, AND FACADES
If you want maximum energy savings and comfort, without losing living space, then we are the obvious choice. Our foam acts as a thermal block and also insulates against the summer sun’s heat. It eliminates the need for diffusion plastic and air gaps and saddling on existing roof trusses, saving both time and precious/expensive square meters.
METAL AND DENSELY PACKED HALLS
